Heat Exchanger: The heated transfer fluid passes through a heat exchanger, transferring its heat to the water in the storage tank. This indirect heating process prevents direct contact between the transfer fluid and the domestic water supply.As the heat transfer fluid circulates through the heat exchangar tubes, it releases its thermal energy to the surrounding water in the storage tank. This process raises the temperature of the water in the tank.
